A LABOUR OF LOVE

About the BoatHouse

Opened in 2017, the Boathouse has been a true labour of love for owner Paul Puddiphatt, who restored the lower level of his home back to it's long forgotten commercial roots.

The cafe creperie's success to date has been built upon our passion for nutritious, attractive food and a determination to create and cater excellence to vegans, vegetarians, cake-lovers, crepe-conisseurs and everyone in between!

We are currently offering a take-away menu, built upon the same values, as we adapt to current best practices for social distancing.

You'll find us open every day of the week, 9am - 5pm!

Tables are available on the nearby quay.

QUALITY RULES

Why it's got to be just so...

All those playing a part in the Boathouse story are united by a dedication to quality. From sourcing the freshest local ingredients to plate presentation, from artwork and flowers to hygiene and service, we appreciate it's often the small details that make the biggest difference.

I don't often write reviews but had to with this little place. Delicious coffee and carrot cake, and I'm fussy about coffee! Cosy, romantic, french cafe feel and ultra relaxed vibe.

"Great find, love the casual atmosphere. We had the cream cheese and salmon crepes with nice glass of wine. Friendly service, my grandchildren love it".
